  • The first idea for the space was to integrate two oversized ARCHIVE SHELVES, because of a big need for archival storage. Two shelves, 5m high, made of 40 mm chipboards enframe the window and are filled with adjusted and labeled boxes – one project per box. The TABLE, 4m long, is the work space and communication platform for the director and the staff. Everybody can exchange views and information closely. The BOOK SHELVES upstairs are developed according to a scheme which allows to store books with different formats in a very graphical way. In the entrance area the so called SILENT SERVANT, made of birch plywood, a filing for current projects was integrated into a door frame. The WAVE, a bench made of curved steel tubes and birch plywood serves as a relaxing spot in the middle of a work environment. Elements like the colourful CLOTHING HOOKS and the TOILET PAPER HODLER, made of milled ashwood loosen up the puristic environment.
  • Die erste Idee für die Räume war, zwei überdimensionale ARCHIVREGALE zu integrieren, da der Auftraggeber großen Archivierungsbedarf hat. Zwei fünf Meter hohe Regale aus beschichteten 40 mm Spanplatten schließen das Fenster ein und sind mit angepassten und beschrifteten KARTONS bestückt – jedes Projekt hat seinen Platz. Der vier Meter lange TISCH dient als Arbeitsfläche für die Mitarbeiter und gleichzeitig als Kommunikationsplattform. Jeder kann sich auf kurzem Wege mit jedem austauschen. Der Chef sitzt mittendrin! Die BÜCHERREGALE im Obergeschoss sind nach einer Formel entwickelt, die eine grafische Lösung für die unterschiedlichen Bücherformate ermöglicht. Im Eingangsbereich wurde in einen Türstock der STUMME DIENER aus Birkensperrholz als Ablage für laufende Projekte integriert. Die WELLE, eine Bank aus gebogenem Stahlrohr und Birkensperrholz, dient als Ruhepol im Arbeitsumfeld. Elemente wie die GAREROBENHAKEN und KLOROLLENHALTER aus gedrechseltem Eschenholz – der Stab beim Klorollenhalter ist exzentrisch angebracht, dadurch hängt die Rolle immer mittig – lockern als Farbpunkte die puristische Umgebung auf.
