  • In the development of school furniture three essential things have been thrust into the foreground:: ergonomics, modular discipline and the possibility of being able to take the chairs off the floor after use. SCHOOL encourages active sitting. The seating area cantilevers out from the backrest, leaving a gap between it and the frame below. After use the chair is not put on the desk but inserted into the desk using this gap. In this way it is held firmly off the floor and cleaning can proceed without obstruction. At the central joint connections the height of the desk can be adjusted to suit different age-groups. The joints are sintered together, the rest is made of painted, middle density fibreboard. SCHOOL is at the moment in the prototype stage of development.
  • Bei der Entwicklung von Schulmöbeln haben sich drei wesentliche Dinge in den Vordergrund gestellt: Ergonomie, Modularität und das Aufstuhlen. SCHOOL fördert das aktive Sitzen: Durch den Abstand zwischen Sitzschale und Untergestell kann der Stuhl frei schwingen. Der Stuhl wird nicht auf den Tisch gestellt, er wird eingeschoben: Sitzfläche auf Tischfläche. So steckt der Stuhl fest und der Boden kann leicht gereinigt werden. An den zentralen Knotenpunkten lassen sich die jeweiligen Größen für die verschiedenen Altersstufen adaptieren.
    Die Knotenpunkte beim Stuhl sind lasergesintert, der Rest aus lackiertem MDF. SCHOOL befindet sich momentan im Prototypenstadium.
